Magic Happens is pleased to announce our yoga therapy class

In a serene, inspiring atmosphere, classes offer patients relief, support and inspiration for healing during treatment. An important goal from evidence-based research, is to teach self-regulating techniques that can relieve the distressing side effects of treatment and improve sleep, mood, and coping.

Benefits Yoga include:
• Reducing muscle tension and habituated tension patterns
• Promoting self-healing and functional improvements
• Decreasing anxiety and depression
• Improving overall health and feelings of well being
• Reducing neuropathy and lymphedema

• Slow, gentle movements to improve blood flow, range of motion, and flexibility in joints and muscles.

First Ever Fitness Legacy Award Presented by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger

The Legacy Award is one of the highest honors presented at the event, and is to become an annual event within the conference. Honorees are chosen for their exceptional contributions to the community through volunteer and charitable efforts. The hope being that these leaders will themselves leave a legacy behind that inspires others to make a powerful impact in the lives of others.

After running her first half marathon as a charity fundraiser for the foundation, Founder Daniella Cippitelli flew almost immediately to Columbus, Ohio to serve as an expert presenter at a ground breaking conference; The ICA 21st Annual Council on Fitness & Sports Health Sciences National Symposium on Natural Fitness with Keynote Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Meet Deana Maria Bonafiglia 
Deana Maria BonafigliaDeana Maria Bonafiglia believes everyone deserves to live a Life they truly love. She is a Certified Kripalu Yoga Teacher, Certified Fitness Design Expert, Holistic Health Coach, Reiki Practitioner, Thai Massage Practitioner, holds a Bachelors of Arts Degree in psychology from Pace University in New York City, a writer, and artist. She guides children and adults through the exploration of movement and mindful practices, nutrition design, and energy work, creating powerful lifestyle transformations. Deana believes in living a balanced, powerful and vibrant life and utilizes her skills and experience to inspire others to reach their highest potentials in fitness, energy, health, and creativity!

Meet Don Doward
Don DowardDon Doward is President of New England Fitness Design.  He is an ISSA Certified Fitness Trainer, Master Trainer, Master of Fitness Design and Executive Chef. He has over 40 years of experience in the restaurant industry. Don has worked with chefs from all around the globe.  Most notably, his talent in the kitchen has been shared with the French Chef herself, Julia Child. He has learned many secrets to help you make well-informed choices when preparing your food and when dining out. Don’s expertise will help you nourish your body in ways that fit your lifestyle, time restrictions and physical capabilities.

Running Like a Princess

Magic Happens Foundation will be running in the Disney Princess 1/2 marathon to raise money for the Theodore Roosevelt Association’s Teddy Bear program. Join us in Orlando February 24th if you can. We will have video and pics from the race weekend!

All donations help bring teddy bears to little cancer patients in hospitals and every dollar counts please support if you can.
